My clients Identity Exchange (IE) product enables and secures KYC across the ecosystem, reducing friction for stakeholders in global trade.
They are now looking to extend the team with a freelance Sales & Business Development Manager (SaaS) — Identity Exchange who will own the go-to-market, strategy and sales for their Identity Exchange solution. You’ll lead the commercial motion that turns this into scaled adoption.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to deliver significant new ARR in the first year.
- Build and progress a qualified pipeline; run the full cycle from outreach to signed agreements.
- Craft clear value cases and navigate multiple stakeholders (Ops, Compliance, IT).
- Convert pilots and references into repeatable wins and multi-market rollouts.
- Feed structured market signals back to Product (pricing, packaging, integrations).
- Represent IE at select industry touchpoints (member meetings, webinars, conferences).
What your succes looks like (12 months)
- A healthy pipeline and material enterprise ARR delivered with a realistic ramp.
- Pipeline anchored by 2–3 lighthouse wins and expansion paths.
- A simple, repeatable sales narrative and assets the team reuses.
You’ll be successful here if you have
Must-haves
- You live in The Netherlands and you have experience in working in The Netherlands.
- Proven B2B SaaS closing experience (enterprise or upper mid-market).
- Track record selling to compliance/ops/IT stakeholders with multi-party deals.
- Ability to craft value (TCO/ROI) and negotiate to signed contracts.
- Comfortable with solution selling and a consultative, outcome-driven approach.
- Background in KYC/AML/identity or data platforms.
Nice-to-haves
- Exposure to logistics/financial services ecosystems.
- Experience turning pilots into multi-country commercial rollouts.
