My client is pioneering digital transformation by providing trusted, interoperable digital solutions that drive efficiency, compliance, and security. Their Identity Exchange DaaS product enables seamless, standardized, and secure KYC (Know Your Customer) processes across the ecosystem — reducing friction, ensuring compliance, and unlocking new opportunities for collaboration.
They are looking for a freelance Sales & Business Development Manager who will own the go-to-market and sales strategy for their Identity Exchange solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Revenue Generation
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve excellent revenue in the first year.
- Build, manage, and close a pipeline of relevant ecosystem stakeholders.
- Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting to negotiation and contract closure.
- Business Development
- Identify and engage with strategic partners, industry associations, and technology providers to expand the reach of the Identity Exchange solution.
- Create value propositions tailored to different stakeholder groups (carriers, forwarders, shippers, regulators, and financial institutions).
- Contribute to market positioning, product packaging, and pricing models.
- Customer Engagement
- Act as the trusted advisor for clients, demonstrating deep understanding of KYC, compliance, and digital identity challenges.
- Translate customer needs into solution opportunities and feedback for the product team.
- Ensure successful onboarding and adoption of the Identity Exchange platform by new customers.
- Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership
- Monitor regulatory trends (AML, KYC, digital identity) and competitive landscape.
- Represent the company at industry events, panels, and client workshops.
- Provide insights to inform product roadmap and strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- You live in The Netherlands and you have experience in working in The Netherlands.
- Proven track record in B2B aaS sales, in compliance, KYC/AML, identity management, or fintech solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent annual new revenue through enterprise-level deals.
- Strong network in logistics, financial services, or regulatory bodies is highly desirable.
- Excellent consultative sales skills — able to engage C-level executives and technical stakeholders alike.
- Experience with complex sales cycles (6–18 months), contract negotiation, and closing enterprise DaaS deals.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, results-oriented, and comfortable building a new revenue stream from the ground up.
