We are seeking a proactive HR Advisor to join my client’s dynamic organization. This role is essential in managing a variety of human resource tasks and ensuring smooth HR operations across the organization.

Role Summary

The HR Advisor will be the cornerstone of the HR function, balancing multiple responsibilities ranging from strategic HR initiatives to operational tasks. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their work, and is passionate about making an impact on the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

The HR Advisor plays a key role in supporting both employees and management by providing expert guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and workplace best practices. The responsibilities include:

  • Coach and guide employees for growth and success.
  • Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and learning opportunities to support employee growth.
  • Manage sickness cases with our occupational health doctor.
  • Drive engagement through team-building and events.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process and oversee and improve our onboarding programs to ensure a seamless experience for new employees.
  • Manage and maintain employee records, contracts, and HR databases to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and local labor laws.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s / Master degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar HR role.
  • Proficiency in HR software (e.g., HiBob, NMBRS, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and compliance requirements in the Netherlands.
  • Experience in working for a Dutch company.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive, resourceful approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Practical

  • You have to live in The Netherlands. My client does not offer relocation or immigration services (VISA). You must be eligible to work in the Netherlands
  • Willing to work in The Amsterdam Office at least two days a week
  • 32-40h a week
